2025 ASA Championship @ Georgia Tech (6/25 4-8pm)

Date & Time: Wednesday, June 25 4-8pm (approximate)
Entry Deadline: ***IMPORTANT** Please RSVP here as soon as possible. Meet entry will close Tuesday June 10th at noon so we can provide counts to ASA and prepare entries.
Each swimmer will choose their TWO Individual Events for the meet! If you are unsure of your event, please rsvp for the meet on time. You can add the 2 events after discussing with coaches.
The coaches will put together relay teams.
Eligibility: All Kingsley swimmers meeting the following conditions are invited and encouraged to attend the Championship meet!
- Swimmer must be able to swim the length of the pool unassisted.
- Swimmer must have participated in at least one dual meet.
- Family must have earned or be on track to earn 50 volunteer points during the regular 2025 season.
Meet Format: This year’s Championship will be a timed final event like last year. Teams will compete in one of 6 sessions. Each session will have team trophies and medals and ribbons for individual and relay events. There will not be a championship final session.
Location: Georgia Tech Campus Recreation Center Aquatic Center, 750 Ferst Drive, Atlanta, GA
The Georgia Tech Aquatic Center is a ten lane 50 meter x 25 yard 10 lane pool, this is a flat wall pool on finish and turn ends. We will run 2 competition pools for all sessions, the scoreboard side pool will be for boys events, the diving well side pool is for girls events.
Team Arrival: We will meet outside the GA Tech Campus Recreation Center and enter the building as a team as required by ASA. ASA will assign our arrival time & warm up session by June 24. Once we get our assigned time, we will communicate to the parents. Be prepared to arrive between 1:30pm and 2pm.
Events: Each swimmer is allowed to swim two individual events of their choice. Please select your desired events when you RSVP. Relays will be determined by the coaches.
Entry Fee: The per swimmer entry fee charged by ASA is covered in your Kingsley Swim Team dues so there are no additional fees collected. Please note, Kingsley is required to pay the fee even if a swimmer backs out for any reason after 6/19.
Cancellation Policy: By signing up for the meet, you agree to reimburse Kingsley Swim Team $50 per swimmer for cancellations after noon on June 19th or for meet no-shows.This covers the non-refundable ASA per swimmer entry fee paid by Kingsley.
Team Area: Each team will have a designated area in the stands or on the pool deck. Swimmers must remain in their designated area unless they are going to their bullpen for their scheduled event.
Spectators: Spectators are welcome at this year’s meet! Admission is free. Spectators must remain in the spectator gallery in designated spectator seating areas. Spectators are not allowed on the pool deck, unless they have a credential as a meet volunteer or designated team official. Spectators should not sit in the team seating areas located over the diving well.
Volunteers: We will be reaching out for volunteer sign ups as we get closer. ASA determines the number of meet volunteers needed from each team based on the number of swimmers we enter. We will also need Kingsley volunteers for bullpens and relays. More information to come.
Video Streaming: Live video streaming coverage of all sessions will be available free of charge. There will be a link to the webcast at asa.swimtopia.com.
Parking: Coaches and team vehicles will not receive free parking passes. Prepaid parking will be available in the W10 parking deck that is adjacent to the CRC. To park in this deck, you must pre-buy a parking pass, you cannot pay at the gate. To pre-purchase parking please visit https://gatech.parkmobile.io/events . Parking costs will be between $12-15. Overflow parking for W10 and any day of parking for those who did not prepay is located at the W23 lot at 905 State St.
Order of Events: The order of events for Championships are slightly different than regular meets. The 6 & under individual events occur after the end of relays. The order is 6 & under free relay, All ages medley relays, 6 & under free, All ages Free relays, then 6 & under back. If you have a 6 & under swimmer, expect to be done early.
USSA Swimming Observed Status: This meet will have observed status with Georgia Swimming. Year long swimmers with a USS registration with their club team will be able to use their times for qualification purposes at the USS level. If your swimmer falls into this category, please send the swimmer USS number to [email protected].
